Every two years the IFSCC convenes a world congress; the 35th edition will take place 15–18 September 2025 in Cannes, France. The research presented at these congresses consistently sets the agenda for the next wave of beauty innovation. This year’s program will spotlight skincare technologies, green formulation science and biotechnology.
Founded in 1959, the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) unites more than 16,000 scientists across 48 countries, creating the world’s most influential network for cosmetic research. Its mission is to advance the frontiers of beauty science by fostering breakthrough innovation in formulation, skin biology, raw-material development and sustainability. Through biennial World Congresses, peer-reviewed journals, prestigious awards such as the Maison G. de Navarre Young Scientist Prize, and year-round webinars, the Federation accelerates the translation of cutting-edge science into everyday products. The 35th IFSCC World Congress will convene 15–18 September 2025 in Cannes, France, gathering over 1,200 researchers, suppliers and brand leaders. Under the theme “The Future is Science”, the program will spotlight next-generation skincare technologies—microbiome-friendly actives, AI-driven personalization, green-chemistry formulation and biotechnology-derived ingredients—setting the agenda for the industry’s next decade of innovation.
